Short Notes – A Space for Thoughts in Transit

Some thoughts are too subtle for a full post, yet too significant to let slip away. So, they settle here—half-formed reflections, fleeting sparks, and the occasional stroke of brilliance (or nonsense). Perhaps they’ll evolve into something greater. Perhaps they’ll remain as they are, aging like fine wine… or expired yogurt.

In either case, they stay here. And someday, I’ll look back, nod in understanding, or chuckle at how much has changed.

AI makes music–WTF

Last updated: 29.03.2025

AI is creeping into the music industry, churning out bangers that sound like someone force-fed a neural network every pop hit since 2005—yet somehow forgot to include the raw emotional depth and individuality. Sure, it can generate a decent melody, but it’ll never match the raw fury of an artist like OTEP's one-of-a-kind voice, lyrical complexity, and intense stage presence, unless someone teaches it how to truly hate a microphone. Until AI stops sounding like a Spotify algorithm trying to impress a focus group, we’re probably safe. Then again, 90% of music already sounds like an AI wrote it in five minutes between generating cat photos, endless loops of generic beats, and motivational catchphrases. So, how do we tell the difference? Easy—if it makes you feel something other than mild indifference, a human probably suffered for it through blood, sweat, and tears.

Narcissist

Last updated: 21.03.2025

Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD) isn’t just garden-variety arrogance—it’s a deep-seated need for admiration, an inflated sense of self-importance, and a glaring lack of empathy. According to the DSM-5, diagnosis requires at least five traits, like entitlement, exploitation, and a total inability to handle criticism. Their relationships? Superficial at best, toxic at worst. Their lives? A cycle of grandiosity and inevitable fallout. There’s no cure—only management, survival, or best of all: running.

Sealed for Your Convenience

Last updated: 11.04.2025

Ah, the brilliance of modern living: build a hermetically sealed house, trapping all the moisture and air inside, then install a high-tech mechanical ventilation system to fight off the mold that’s thriving in your sealed-off fortress. Genius! Why bother with diffusion-open materials that actually solve the problem when you can just close everything off and spend a fortune on technology to fix the mess you’ve created? Truly, human ingenuity at its finest.
